International Departures, Cape Town International Airport

ACG Architects led this project as part of the “Associated Airports Architects” team, with SVA & DHK Architects. The Challenge of this project lay in the fact that it involved the installation of new facilities to an existing 1960s’ building which was fully operational, where overall operational efficiency and security could not be compromised. The R100 million facility was completed as scheduled in 2003 within a 16 month period.
